Information Management\nOfficer (PMD focus)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Location: Baghdad \/ cover\n8 governments <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1.  The Information\nManagement Officer will facilitate data collection and presentation for project\nactivities, taking primary responsibility, in particular, for data related to\nlegal service provision. <\/li>
  2. The Information Management Officer will work closely with the\nfield teams to help prepare lawyers for direct entry of their case information\nin the PMD (Using the LARF (legal cases forms)) . During the period, while the\ntransition is ongoing, he or she will continue to work with the Reporting\nOfficers of each PARC to ensure that data entry remains ongoing.<\/li>
  3. Information Management Officer will be the primary person\nresponsible for generating key quantitative reports, namely, at present, the Indicator\nTracking Sheets (for all activities, including those beyond legal services) and\nthe Master Tracking Sheet.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    \u00b7In terms of performance\nevaluation, the criteria shall relate primarily to the quality \u2013 accuracy and\nscope, i.e. comprehensiveness \u2013 of the data collected and available. In terms\nof accuracy, it is important to note that the Information Management Officer\nwill be responsible for ensuring that data accurately reflects program\nactivities (through appropriate due diligence, including follow-up with staff\nand audits of primary sources where necessary). In order to be \u201cavailable,\u201d\ndata should be presented in an easy-to-understand format and thus clarity of\npresentation shall also be a basis for performance review. The Information\nManagement Officer should be prepared to provide stored information in response\nto ad hoc requests using a logical, streamlined format (i.e. one tailored to\nthe specific request itself).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \u00b7In terms of periodic data\ncollection, serve as the primary person responsible for ensuring the entry of\naccurate, up-to-date information with respect to legal services. This includes\nfacilitating the transition to the new system, whereby lawyers will input their\ncase information directly, by overseeing data entry in January and February\nand, during that time and thereafter, by helping to build the lawyers\u2019 capacity\nthrough the provision of feedback on an ongoing basis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

     \u00b7 Ensure the quality of data, in terms of both its\naccuracy and its breadth (i.e. the extent to which it comprehensively reflects\nprogram activities). To this end, follow up with field teams as necessary and\naudit data for accuracy, including by verifying data through the analysis of\nprimary sources (e.g. LARF forms or certain case documents). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \u00b7 In terms of reporting,\ngenerate quantitate reports on a periodic and ad hoc basis, including the\nprimary tracking sheets (at present, the Indicator Tracking Sheets and Master\nTracking Sheet). The Information Management Officer should be prepared to improve\nupon existing systems and provide other reports as necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

     \u00b7 Ensure that data is presented in easy-to-read (or\neasy-to-understand) formats. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \u00b7 Demonstrate leadership\nand analytical ability, including with respect to work within the broader\nInformation Management Team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

     \u00b7 Otherwise provide ongoing support and training to other\nstaff, including field teams, to ensure quality and facilitate monitoring and\nevaluation activities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \u00b7 Perform other duties, as\nneeded or requested by the Supervisor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
