Job Title: Reporting/Database Officer
- Under the direct supervision of the ‘PARC Manager’, the Reporting/Database Officer will be responsible for coordinating with Programme Officers-Protection and other relevant stakeholders in their governorate to obtain and translate protection monitoring data to produce succinct monthly protection reports for UNHCR.
- The Reporting/Database Officer will receive technical guidance and support from a Baghdad-based Reporting Officer and respond to questions and requests for additional information on submitted protection data on a weekly basis
- The Reporting/Database Officer will submit translated protection monitoring on a weekly basis and be responsible for the timely completion of reports, including highlights and action points.
- Directly translate protection data from Arabic to English to produce a clear, protection focused report and translate and follow-up on red flag protection-related issues.
- Enter protection monitor data into the UNHCR database online on a weekly basis.
- Enter legal cases data into the UNHCR database online on a weekly basis.
- Analyse data and highlight trends and protection needs in reporting to Baghdad based Reporting Officer and Protection Manager.
- Submit report progress to Baghdad-based reporting officer on a weekly basis for review and coordinate with relevant parties to finalize reports in a timely manner.
